Business and Entrepreneurship
Major

Students can combine the Business & Entrepreneurship major — with its focus on developing marketing, finance and accounting, data analytics, and computer science skills — and a second major they are passionate about (Music, Languages, Government, Psychology, Environmental Studies, etc.), to prepare themselves to launch a startup or become a changemaker in a field of their choice.

Lawrence’s Student Success at The Pitch

Lawrence students took first place in 2017, 2018, and 2025 and have finished in the money five times. In ’24, Lawrence’s Safiya Grant placed third for her idea for Muse, an all-natural skin-care line that features body care products targeted toward women of color.

LaunchLU

With Launch LU, Lawrence’s annual pitch contest, you and your team of fellow students conceive new ideas and pitch them to business leaders, venture capitalists and accomplished alumni.

Business & Entrepreneurship Center

Lawrence is forming strategic partnerships with community organizations to develop innovative living-learning spaces where students can collaborate with businesses and non-profits for hands-on experiential learning.
